IREX Community Solutions Program for Community youth Leaders 2022/2023 – Fully Funded to the United States.

The Community Solutions Program (CSP) is a yearly professional growth leadership scheme However for employees’ participation in community building via economic concerns. Including peace as well as conflict resolution, accountability and honesty, women’s issues, and gender issues.

The following community leaders are described for involvement in the initiative:

  • A 4 month American Membership: Community Solutions partners are paired with sponsors in the United States, where they will work for four months.
  • Community Leadership Institute: Community Solutions fellows take part inside the Local Management Institute, a career development program that aims to improve their managerial and governance abilities. Physical workshops, online programs, expert mentoring, and communication are all part of the Academy.

  • Community-based initiatives: While being in the United States, Community Solutions fellows conceive and plan a community outreach program or plan to implement once they come back home, with both the help of their organization. When the fellows leave the United States, they implement these initiatives in their native regions.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must satisfy the standards mentioned below to be considered for the Community Solutions Program. Applications that do not fulfill these qualifying conditions will be rejected and the selection committee will not consider them.

  • All applicants must be between the ages of 25 to 28
  • Applicants must be living and working in their home country
  • Participants must have 2 years of experience in community development
  • Must not be involved in any training or educational program in the USA
  • Must have a good command of the English language
  • Ready to spend 2 years in the US and then return back home

Asia and the Pacific

Brunei, Burma, Cambodia, Fiji, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Mongolia, Papua New Guinea, Philippines. Thus Republic of the Marshall Islands, Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste, and Vietnam.

Europe

Albania, Bosnia, Herzegovina, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta. Also Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Turkey, UkraineMiddle.

East/North Africa:

Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Morocco, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, West Bank/Palestinian Territories.

If protective measures subside, IREX plans to execute the Community Solutions Program in person in the United States between August to December 2022. IREX, in conjunction with both the Bureau of Educational as well as the Cultural Affairs of the United States Department of State, will constantly monitor the COVID-19 epidemic and adapt the effectiveness of the program properly. IREX’s top focus has always been and will always be to protect the safety and health of CSP members, collaborators, and regions.
