Officers of the Adogo Headquarters of Ajaokuta Local Government Area of Kogi State National Social Investment Program are being blamed for physical verification of extortion of N-Power applicants.

“Was indeed cash for validation,” the report continued, “which also will decide the mandatory physical verification over all N-Power candidates.”

The alleged declaration letter was supposedly signed and dated by Shaibu Yakubu, the Desk Officer of NSIP in Ajaokuta LGA.

Inside the report, a deep-cover reporter presented as an N-Power applicant, and officials from the Adogo secretariat were noticed in an audio recording trying to negotiate N1,000 for a declaration letter.

It also was discovered that the alleged criminal offense wasn’t really performed for the first moment in this workplace.

Mr. Abdulkareem Onyekehi, the Interpersonal Investment Fund’s Kogi State Focal Person, said that only six of the agency’s 21 LGAs had begun physical verification for Batch C N-Power.

In an interview with Okoro Ulu, the Kogi State Commissioner for Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offenses, he stated that he had received no complaints on the subject.
